Terms of Governance
System Protocol v4.0 // Effective April 2026
The Zero-Knowledge Bound
Convis Ledger Systems (the "Platform") operates on a Zero-Knowledge Architecture. By utilizing this infrastructure, the Agent acknowledges:
- Encryption keys are generated and held exclusively on the client-side device.
- Convis employees, administrators, and infrastructure providers have zero technical capacity to decrypt, view, or audit the content of transferred assets.
- Loss of local decryption keys results in the permanent, irreversible loss of data access.
Ephemeral Data Incineration
Liability is limited through time-boxed persistence. The Platform is a courier, not a storage vault.
Convis provides no warranty for data recovery once the incineration window has closed.
Immutable Audit Trails
While content is confidential, actions are permanent. To maintain institutional trust, the following metadata is etched into the Write-Once-Read-Many (WORM) ledger:
- Agent Identity (Authenticated Session ID).
- Cryptographic Transaction Signatures (HSM Witnessed).
- Timestamp of Deposit and Access.
- Operational Status of the Transfer.
Monetization & Credits
The system is powered by Ledger Credits purchased via the Secure Stripe Gateway.
- One (1) credit is consumed per unique asset deposit.
- Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable between Agent IDs.
- Refunds are only issued in the event of a documented System-Wide Ledger Failure.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Digital Sovereignty. While we facilitate global transport, users are responsible for ensuring document compliance with their respective national financial regulators.
